Living Room is an evolving project that reimagines where and how art is experienced. By activating unconventional and underutilized spaces as sites for exhibitions, Living Room fosters dialog between art, community, and the environment.
Each location functions as both venue and collaborator, shaping the curatorial approach in response to the unique conditions of its site. Central to the project is a commitment to leaving every space better than it was found. Each exhibition becomes an opportunity to clean, restore, mitigate, or otherwise support a transition—whether for the people who inhabit the space, the surrounding community, or the ecosystem it sustains. In this way, Living Room understands the act of presenting art as inseparable from caring for the lives and places that make it possible.
